Behind the Music

Michael Nunoo is the founder and CEO of Nunoo Music, LLC. He is a native of Ghana and has had a strong passion for music and has been drawn to it even as a youngster. As a result, Nunoo Music, LLC. is strongly influenced by the community, culture and sounds of the African, specifically, the Ghanaian community.

Trumpet Soloist

Nunoo is a skilled trumpet player who understands the power of sound and wants to perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum. Nunoo aspires to have a signature style that is instantly recognizable and can be heard on a national stage.

Nunoo currently performs at as a soloist in his local New York churches in The Bronx and Albany. In addition, he has been called upon to perform at weddings celebrations, church events and local concerts in both cities. He has played with well known artists such as Tasha Cobbs and Chandler Moore at The Egg in Albany. He has played with several local NY Jazz bands such as Vanguard High School at the Apollo, Afro-pop Gospel bands such as Soul Winners Band throughout the 50 states and Jon Teye Memorial Band throughout countries like England, Australia, Belgium, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and many more.

Let's Worship

When Nunoo is not performing as a soloist trumpet player, he is hosting his signature event Let's Worship with his band of other musicians. The goal of this event is to worship and share the gospel through music within the African community and beyond. Let's Worship debuted in 2017 has since been established as an annual event hosted by Nunoo Music, LLC.
